Any form of organic material that decomposes under anaerobic conditions will generate methane gas – a gas that is highly flammable and can be used for cooking, heating, lighting and electricity generating purposes.  BiogasSA designs and installs biogas digesters that can efficiently generate and apply this completely sustainable, environmentally friendly and free energy source for residential, commercial and industrial applications.

Biogas is not only an alternative way to generate electricity from waste materials, but also acts as an intermediary system that manages waste water. The water that comes out of the system can be channelled into a micro-wetland system or filtration system. Recycling waste water into a new revived water source.

Another output of the Biogas system is: nutrient rich super compost.
